Percha Bank is one of the last five remaining historic buildings in Kingston. Built in 1886 during the silver mining boom, it once held 7 million dollars worth of silver in it’s vault. The original vault, and teller counter are intact. The interior and exterior has been well maintained with a new roof and stone tuck pointing recently completed. Currently used as a retail/gallery space, other uses could include, artists studio/gallery, residence (with renovation) café (with renovation) or for a business. This building is not on the State or National Historic Registry and expansion to it on the adjacent lot is possible.
